I haven't been a member here at da for too awefully long but I have been having a lot fun here. Meeting some great artist who have been doing art for years and some young folks, also a few like me who have come by it a bit later in life.

Have done a contest entry, LOL. Participated in a few art trades and that is a blast!!

Have been playing around in the damuro. Argggggg...... It likes to take my work and make it go "***POOF***" its gone, disappeared from all known sources to me. Time to start over. LOL  I have been using it to try and practice this digital art painting and such to determine if I will get the SAI paint program or not.

Well at the rate that damuro is disappearing my work I may as well, at least I will get to keep what I am working on I think and if I have to stop and do something and save it, it won't save individually each time. Hopefully it will save it as the same file, as it should so long as I as I am working on the same project. (Boy, that sounded confusing..... LOL)

I am glad to be a member here and am also considering doing a premium membership but I am not really sure that one is all that much more beneficial to someone like me.

Also another thing I am interested in is the art horse role play game thing here. I did look up one but unfortunately, you do have to draw your own horses. Now I am no where good enough with horses to do that. I draw a very, very simple head and after that, I think a stick body would be my low side and freaky set of curves with points for feet would be my tops. LOL And this from a horse owner!!! However I do wish they had a group out there that allowed us to use line art or tracing. I have my own horses I can trace. Also "somelines" does some really nice equine line art I would love to work with digitally if I do get the SAI Paint. (somelines, I purchase art I use so don't worry about improper use, know you have had some bad folks pull some nasty stunts recently but that isn't my style) (LOL< I am honest enough to say where I am lousy at in my art !! >LOL)

So anyone know much about the RP for the horses, please drop me a line. Also if one would not mind spending some time to talk about the SAI paint in some depth with me on a very low key, non digital easy way I would appreciate it. I would probably have to do this via the note thing here. I would like to know more about it and how it is used before I buy one. I have no idea of how layers work really. Not in this aspect anyhow.
